Blue Earth pastels are organized by hue, value and intensity. This intuitive color wheel arrangement makes finding the right color with the correct value quick and easy. It also simplifies the use of complementary harmonies.
Each box is organized from dark to light using a seven-value scale. Colors are further organized by intensity: Column A is the brightest while columns B, C and D are grayed with increasing amounts of complementary color. Nearly Neutral boxes complete the set with a select assortment of highly desaturated hues. Only lightfast, high density mineral pigments are used. Each stick is numbered for easy identification.
